Dejan Gavrić was born in Belgrade in 1966. He started playing flute at the age of 11 and gave his first concert only a year later. From 1984 to 1988 he studied at the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade. Upon receiving a scholarship to continue his education at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen, he became a student in the studio of Professor Matthias Rütters. He graduated from Folkwang Hochschule with honors in February 1991. As a student he received the First Prize at the Folkwang – Hochschule Competition, as well as the prestigious Folkwang Award for his overall artistic achievements. In 1993, after completing his postgraduate studies with honors at the same institution, he became a Professor at Folkwang Hochschule. He has won awards at various international competitions, including the Maria Casals Competition in Barcelona (Spain) and the Leonardo De Lorenzo Competition in Viaggio (Italy). During his studies in Belgrade, he appeared as a soloist with The Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra and The Belgrade Radio Television Symphony Orchestra on multiple occasions. He has performed at BEMUS Festival (Belgrade, Serbia) and Summer Music Festival (Split, Croatia), and has also made recordings for Belgrade Radio and Television. His engagements as a soloist and ensemble member have taken him to England, France, Spain, Austria, Italy, Germany, Japan, and USA, including appearances at The Marlboro Music Festival, and Hitzacker Musiktagen. He was engaged as solo Flutist at the Theater and Philharmonic Orchestra in Essen, in the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen, and in the Philharmonic Orchestra in Graz. Since 2002 Dejan Gavrić has been employed as a Full Time Professor for Flute at the Hochschule für Musik Rheinland-Pfalz. Jasna Marković Vujanović was born in Tuzla (1973), were she finished elementary and middle music school. As a student she participated in numerous competitions in which she won prizes, of which are the most notable first prize in SFRJ in Ljubljana 1988 and second prize in category of chamber music orchestra in competition next year. After summer course of Academy of Art in Novi Sad, and to the invitation of her future professor, Marian Egic, she enters a freshmen year of studies in 1990. During studies she attended courses of renowned flutists (Renata Grajs-Armin, 1992 and 1994 in Italy), she participated in work of hungarian flutist section in Sopron, she was a student of professor Peter Lukas-Graf, and after studies and courses of Sophie Sherie, Janosh Balint, Gergelj Ices, she graduated with average score of 9,45. Since her third year of studies she is employed in music school Isidor Bajic. The confirmation of hers pedagogical results is, besides numerous awards of her students, the selection for jury member for competition in Valjevo 2005 and 2007, republic competition 2005 and 2007, jury member in festival of music schools in Zajecar 2006, competition in Lazarevac 2008, as well as acknowledgement for the best pedagogue in 1995 on competition of chamber orchestras in hungarian town Balassagyarmat. Since October 2006 when she was elected for the president of Vojvodina's professional commission for flute, she was an organizer of flute seminar of Gergelj Ices, as well as Weekend of open door seminar 2007 and 2008, in which participated over 20 colleges from Vojvodina with their students. She is organizer and coordinator of accredited seminar of Janos Balint for 2009/10. Since 2003, she is active in trio „Anima” (flute, violin and harp) where she achieves notable concerts, performance in International festival of harp as well as performance in Novosadsko Leto (alongside violoncello and with soloist Jelena Bulatovic (mezzo – soprano). In 2004 she establishes trio MaesTre with colleges Aleksandra Nikolic and Irina Zagurskaja, which under name Da kamera accomplishes markable concerts in Novosadsko Leto and in organization of Zrenjanin`s cultural centre 2008. Her students won great number of prizes in festivals, republic and international competitions in solo disciplines as well as in chamber music. Sunčica Lončar was born in 1977. in Pakrac, Republic of Croatia. She started to play flute at the age of 14 in Banja Luka where she completed her studies in the elementary and secondary music school (flute department and music theory department) with professor Slavica Bobrek as the best pupil in her generation. She graduated in Pedagogy from the University of Banja Luka in 2001. and in Flute from the Music Academy in Banja Luka with professor Laura Levai – Aksin in 2005. She became a magister in 2008. She performed numerous concerts with chamber societies, but also with many orchestras and as the soloist. In collaboration with colleagues from the Sarajevo Music Academy Suncica had several very successful concerts in New York and Washington in 2003. and 2004. In the event "Vlado S. Milosevic days" in 2003. and 2004. she played as a soloist with the string orchestra of the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka and the conductor Darinka Matic - Marovic. Also as a soloist, she played with conductor Branka Radosevic and string orchestra of the Music School "Vlado Milosevic" from Banja Luka in several cities in Republic of Srpska. Several times she appeared as a soloist and member of the orchestra "Arion" whose conductor is Muharem Insanic. During her undergraduate and postgraduate studies Suncica was the first flute of the symphony orchestra consisting of students of music academies in BiH, Serbia and Montenegro. Since the 2006 Suncica cooperates with the orchestra "Mostar sinfonieta" and conductors Ruth Waterman and Nigel Osborne. With them she performed concerts in Sarajevo and Banja Luka and music in theater performances of the Ulysses Theatre in Brioni. From 2010 is a member of the Banja Luka Philharmonic Orchestra. In January 2005 was declared the best student of the University of Banja Luka. She works as professor of flute and chamber music at the music school "Vlado Milosevic" in Banja Luka.
Karolina Sprečaković was born on October 27, 1969 in Niš. She finished primary and secondary music school „Stevan Mokranjac“ – flute department, in professor Zoran Marić’s class, after which she finished FMU in Belgrade flute department, in professor Miodrag Azanjac’s class. During her studies she performed in the famous Flute Choir ensemble, and she is a member of a futist association „Miodrag Azanjac“. While she was still a secondary school student she took part in numerous state competitions, both as a soloist and as a memeber of chamber ensembles, where she won numerous awards, the most important being 1st prize at the Federal competition of chamber ensembles – Dubrovnik 1986. She was also an active member of Winds Orchestra Kostolac and of KUD Kostolac with which she had several hundred performances. She started working in „Stevan Mokranjac“ music school, Požarevac, in 1995 as a professor of flute, and at the same time she was working in music school in Kostolac. She took part in many competitions with her students, and won many awards such as: Festival of flutists 2003, 2004 and 2005 – 1st prizes; Festival of music and ballet schools of Serbia, Bačka Topola – 1st prize; Competition of woodwinds, Požarevac 2005 – two 1st prizes; International competition „Petar Konjović“ 2005 – 3rd place; 5th Competition of woodwinds 2008 – three 1st prizes; Festival of music and ballet schools of Serbia, Senta 2010 – 1st prize; International competition ,,Petar Konjović” 2011 – 2nd place; She was a jury member at many competitions and festivals of flutists, both local and international. Both she and her students take part, with great pleasure, in many events, charity concerts and culture happenings in her own town. She is also na active participant of musical meetings with teachers from „brother“ schools: Banja Luka (Republic of Srpska) and Ptuj (Slovenia). She plays actively in a chamber ensemble with Julijana Janković and Zoran Marić, as well as in the „Great ensemble“ of the music school. Many of her students have followed her example and successfully continued musical education at faculties in Serbia.
